It is comprehensive and easy to understand and includes an introduction to yogic physiological theory, such as prana, nadis and charkad.
3. Erich Schiffmann: The Spirit and Practice of Moving into Stillness
Schiffmann provides excellent explanations of some of the subtler aspects of the yoga practice, such as lines of energy, and how to seek and follow guidance in your own practice.
4.Donna Farhi: The breathing book
The breath is a key aspect of our yoga practice and can help us feel calmer and more present. This book provides a number of very simple and effective yoga techniques and practices to help us improve our breathing.
