Furthering our practice in India

There is nothing quite like practicing yoga in India. The raw natural beauty of the country and people along with my family heritage draws me back year after year. Along with spending my time in London and traveling teaching yoga I try to spend several months of the year dedicated to self practice in India. As I love to teach any opportunity to combine this with my study is always gratefully received. This year while I was traveling with my partner James I was given the opportunity to spend some time teaching meditation on a Yoga Teacher Training Course in Rishikesh on the banks of the Ganges. Rishikesh is known as the birthplace of yoga and to spend any time there is to become completely immersed in the yogic life. We were even invited to teach at a school in the Punjab and were featured in the local paper.

Here are a few pictures of our recent adventure.
